Chop. Cut. Pile. Repeat.

Published by at 11:21 am under BCC Weekender,Building,News

Today was ace.

We had a great turn out of regulars, newbies and even some non members.

We cut up loads of fallen and recently felled trees making piles and stacks as we went.

The temperature was zero (or there abouts) but everyone managed to work up a sweat.

But best of all – the tea stayed hot and the biscuits were tasty.

Would some sort of cutting horse be useful for the cutting/holding of logs? This I could knock up at the weekend.

Sorry I couldn’t be there. But I’m getting a tan in south Africa. No bikes though. :0(

    Tan? you mean red head!

Cheers for the horse offer, that’d be great. Will need to make sure it’s pretty low to the ground so that the logs can easily be lifted on to it.

    It’ll need a name too.
