SUNDAY 10th JUNE (this coming Sunday!)
Plan is to do a loop starting in Porlock.
Route is 19miles - nothing too extreme, climbing, singletrack, quiet trails, Dunkery Beacon, near Wooton Courtney, Webbers Post, down a Combe, fast downhill, singletrack blast into Porlock. There, I've just ridden it for you.
Usual guidelines apply: Meet at 8am in the Cheese & Grain car park. There are no facilities or shops en route so please bring enough food and drink for about a 4 hour ride. Plenty of shops in Porlock to buy your malt loaf and 'new'-tella, though. Please also ensure your bike is in good working order and bring spares, tools and appropriate clothing.
A quick show of hands, please, to make sure this is viable. I know it's short notice, but Life gets in the way of arranging these things sometimes.
And we need a ride-leader to volunteer his services, otherwise it'll be a 'forum ride' and not a 'ride-away'.
