Graham (father of BCC members Ben and Tim Batt) approached the club just after its foundation, asking if he could help in some way by making a donation. Graham kindly donated £500 to help the club get up and running by bridging the gap between our start up costs and initial bank balance.

Back in July 2008 Frome Selwood Rotary club invited us to talk to them about what the Black Canon Collective has been doing since it was created this spring. Neil Cousins, Robin Liquorice and I did a short presentation and secured a donation of £250 to help fund the clubs youth development scheme. Impact Digital Design (owned by member Darren Haines) help the club by providing free consultation and making our doodles and sketches become printable reality. I went into BCH Camping in Trowbridge (shops in Bath and Chippenham also) to purchase a pair of walking socks but came out with all their enamel mugs and a discount for the club and all of its members!
