This film is going to be huge! Jonny Ashelford is hosting another great night of MTB movie lushness, drinks and music to launch the much anticipated Follow Me movie by Anthill Films.
The guys have v generously pledged to give all the proceeds of the prize draw to the BCC so please come along to support us and watch what’s hyped to be one of the best films of the year!
The after party is TBC but most likely be at the Cork with DJ Dodd on the decks and more MTB movies on the big screens!
So far we have filled 18 seats. That leaves only 14 seats left. So it’s not too late if you want to come along and join in the fun. Just e mail me your food choices and get a cheque to me asap or give me cash at the Tuesday night ride or at the dig day on Sunday (exact money only, I might not have any change). Thank you to everyone for their posts on the forum regarding the date of the Christmas social. If you are interested and haven’t had your say yet, you only have until Monday (thats the 16th) to do so. In the mean time here’s a copy of the menu to whet your appetite!
Now that both Halloween and Guy Fawkes night are behind us I feel that I can legitimately mention the C word (thats right Christmas) and in particular the Black Canon Collective Christmas Social. The plan is to congregate in The Horse and Groom at East woodlands, eat food, sup some ale/cider and generally be merry!
This social is open to all members (plus 1 partner) and I would like to think that a good mixture of XC, DJ and DH riders will attend. This will be an excellent opportunity to meet other members or catch up with members you may have ridden with but never seen without a full face helmet on! Some of the (fool) hardy night riders may choose to go for a short ride before hand, but I think we should aim to eat at 8pm. The Horse and Groom can accommodate 32 diners so seats will have to be on a first come, first served basis. Alternatively, you are welcome to come along just for drinks.

before Monday 16th November and I will book the venue for the date which suits the most people. Once the date has been decided on, you will then have from Tuesday 17th November until Monday 23rd to grab one of the 32 spaces. If we run out of spaces you are more than welcome to come along just for drinks.
