  • Stolen Bike – Please Help

Sad news: club member, and winner of the beans award at the TickerTape, has had his bike stolen! Here’s Jamie to fill you in on the details:

Hey everyone I had my Trek Ticket 10 stolen from the railings outside the Frome vets between 7:30-12:15 on Thurday 15th July
It had no saddle because that was stolen the month before, but had had red welgo v8 pedals and black odi ruffian lock-on grips with a 661 sticker where the top tube meets the down tube, apart from that it was all standard.
Frame size is 40cm/15.8″ (a small).
If anyone has any information about it, it would be wicked if you could contact info@blackcanoncollective.co.uk

    Thanks!

Be careful people, it seems that there’s been a bit of a spate of bike thefts in and around Frome recently – so lock ’em up!

  • Stolen bike!

A friend of mine has had his bike stolen (above) from a house in Melksham the other night, it is a custom made Curtis hardtail frame with fox 36 forks with custom sprung internals.

Please keep an eye out for it, it is a very special bike, ‘one of a kind’. Let me know below if you have any information.

Here’s the link to the thread on southerndownhill.com; Curtis HT stolen

    Cheers, Ben.

  • Stolen bike – keep an eye out and keep your ride safe

Could everyone please keep an eye out for Marjory’s Specialized Epic WSD which was stolen from her garage on Saturday night.

The silver Epic ‘WSD’ is an unusual model and a ladies Medium size, it has a Fox / Specialized brain shock.

The drivetrain is complete XT and only a few months old with little use.

The wheels are early Hope Pro 2 hubs on black Mavic 717 rims with DT black DB spokes (very little use).

The forks are Rockshox Tora, these were the next item Marjory wanted to upgrade so not in as good condition as the rest of the bike.

If you’ve seen or been offered the bike or any of the bits please e mail simon.truelove@blackcanoncollective.co.uk. We will handle any information with complete discretion if needed. Please don’t try to e mail or PM Marjory at the moment as she’s still without internet access.

Here’s another picture from the Specialized website – please note Marjory’s had a completely different spec but the frame is identical.

    Thanks for reading.

  • Stolen Bike!

    Stolen!

A friend in need is a friend indeed.

We’ve just found out that Ben Batt’s bike has been stolen. Not good!

Its a 2006 demo 8 with a DHX5 shock with white brothers DH2.0 inverted fork.

The bike was stolen in Godalming,in Surrey, from a secure lockup along with around £10,000 worth of chainsaws,  it’s been data tagged and has been reported stolen to the police.

Ben is heartbroken; this weekend would have been the last weekend of work and coursework before being free for a summer of riding.

If anyone has any information that could help Ben get his bike back please email andrew.denham@blackcanoncollective.co.uk
